Ps HW 2

  •  Hope and fear are frequently mixed together when families immigrate to the US in anticipation of being reunited with their loved ones. While the delayed procedure can cause annoyance and impatience, the possibility of starting over in America frequently inspires optimism and tenacity. In the end, the process of immigrating to the US is a rollercoaster of feelings, from joy and happiness to desire and concern, all focused around the hope of reuniting with a loved one. It takes a major toll on the families going through that and I'm fortunate enough to not be apart of that because it would impact the rest of my life losing family.

  • This is a clear image of all my family members. My two parents and younger brother. We are all a very close family and all care for each other and I felt this picture fit the idea of being one and coming together when it came to reading about the US immigration. I'm able to stay in touch with all three of them on a daily basis although being far away is tough, it brings us together much more than I imagined. This photo was taken by my roommate this past week when my family came to visit for break.

 Artist Statement- In my animation we have a dog fetching the bouncing ball in motion and then he puts it in his mouth and chews on it. I am a big dog lover and I have two at home that bring out a specific happiness in me whenever I am around them. I connect to my animation because I always like seeing my dogs play and in the animation made, the dog is playing with the ball by going after it.
